In the last days of the year, Weichai delivered a 25kW SOFC solid oxide fuel cell power generation system to Shaanxi Gas Group and a 100kW SOFC system to China Electric Power Investment Group.

Compared with traditional natural gas power generation units, SOFC power generation systems can reduce carbon emissions by more than 30%, which is conducive to promoting the development and utilization of new, environmentally friendly energy sources. Weichai's SOFC power generation systems have received EU CE certification, with a net power generation efficiency of more than 60%, and a combined thermal and electrical efficiency of 92.55%.

In the future, Weichai will continue to promote the development strategy of “dual energy engine” to provide green and low-carbon solutions for energy conversion and upgrading, and continue to lead the journey of new energy technology reform.
