Recently, Weichai’s 2600 kW data center generator set successfully completed a rigorous 240-hour test (including 20 hours at overload, 220 hours at full load, 100 start-ups, and sudden load acceptance from 0–100%, etc.), once again surpassing the industry’s start-up testing standards for data center generators.
This latest test marks the next upgrade in Weichai’s 2600 kW data center generator development. Previously, Weichai had successfully completed three similar tests, operating a 2000 kW generator set continuously for more than 240 hours. Throughout the 240-hour non-stop operation, the unit endured extreme weather conditions — scorching heat above 40℃ and heavy rainfall — yet maintained stable performance, proving its high reliability in complex environments.
Key Advantages:
- High Reliability: Passed over 30 durability and performance test items, demonstrating strong endurance, stable quality, and trusted reliability.
- Compact Design: Output up to 3000 kW, supporting over 15% overload capability, reducing auxiliary equipment, saving construction space, improving operation and maintenance efficiency, and lowering investment costs.
- Smart Control: Enables generator operation monitoring, remote diagnostics, data logging, and maintenance/preventive repair reminders.
- Outstanding Performance: Rapid start-up with immediate load acceptance, strong load-bearing capability, and the ability to handle sudden 100% load without stalling.
- Information Security: ECU fully designed and developed by Weichai, ensuring safety and data protection.
As the last line of defense for secure power supply in data centers, diesel generator sets must meet extremely high reliability requirements. Weichai has implemented a series of adaptive improvements, achieving start-up within 10 seconds and instant full-load acceptance, ensuring maximum power safety for data centers. Today, Weichai has completed its full product lineup with capacities reaching up to 5 MW, meets all the demands for Data center.
