From December 2–5, the China International Maritime Technology Conference and Exhibition (Marintec China 2025) took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Weichai made a strong impression by showcasing a series of green, smart, and integrated power solutions, leading the new development trends of the maritime industry.

At the event, Weichai exhibited a wide range of its flagship products, including the 16WH17 and 16M23 diesel engines, the 12M33 backup generator set, the 6WH17 methanol engine, marine battery systems, as well as models of workboats developed by Changbo, a member company of Weichai. Weichai’s product portfolio now spans from 25 to 10,000 kW, covering a multi-fuel power ecosystem of Diesel – Methanol – Gas – Hybrid – Electric, delivering comprehensive, green and intelligent power solutions to global customers.

Within the framework of the exhibition, Weichai also held a ceremony marking the milestone of 1,000 auxiliary engines sold, and officially launched its full series of emergency generator sets. The newly released full range of Weichai emergency generator sets covers power outputs from 40–1400 kW and features high reliability, strong load-bearing capability, and easy maintenance. The products have obtained certifications from multiple classification societies, including CCS, ABS, BV, and DNV. this product range provides safe and reliable power assurance for various types of vessels, continuously delivering added value to shipowners.

The ceremony was attended by key distribution partners and major customers, who together witnessed Weichai’s new milestone in the commercial marine power sector.
