On the afternoon of December 15, 2025, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, the Ha Long Tourist Boat Sub-Association held a conference to review its activities in 2025 and outline key tasks for 2026. The event also included a mid-term review of the “Three-No Model” cooperation between the Waterway Police Force and the Ha Long Tourist Boat Sub-Association in 2025.

Established in 2009 under the Quang Ninh Tourism Association, the Ha Long Tourist Boat Sub-Association is an official member of the Vietnam Tourism Association. Over the years, the Sub-Association has continuously promoted innovation and improved the quality of passenger transport services by tourist boats. It has actively contributed opinions and proposals on the management and operation of Ha Long Bay sightseeing vessels, organized professional training programs to enhance the quality of tourism human resources, and carried out many practical and meaningful activities to support member development. These efforts have helped elevate service standards toward greater professionalism and civility, contributing to Quang Ninh’s tourism strategy that prioritizes visitor experience and sustainability as key measures of growth.

In recent years, the tourist boat fleet operating on Ha Long Bay has undergone a remarkable transformation. A series of large-scale, modern super yachts with service quality approaching European standards have been continuously launched. Weichai and Baudouin are honored to be trusted engine brands powering luxury yachts such as Apollo, Aime’e, and Hercules Grand, among others in the Ha Long fleet. The Weichai WP13C, WP12C, and Baudouin 6M33 engines installed on these yachts have received high recognition from operators and have gradually established a strong presence in Ha Long’s tourism sector.

Today, Ha Long is admired not only for its natural beauty but also for its serious investment and well-defined development strategy. The contributions of the Ha Long Tourist Boat Sub-Association will continue to serve as a driving force for Quang Ninh to successfully achieve its goal of welcoming over 20 million visitors in 2025, including 4.5 million international tourists.
