In the morning of September 11th, 2018, employees of Weichai Vietnam have made a meaningful journey called “We love giving back” to the elderly and disabled children at Hanoi Nursing Center for Elderly and Disabled Children at Thuy An village in Ba Vi, Hanoi.

The responsibility in Social of Enterprise is more important nowaday, the Board of Directors of Weichai decided to organize staffs to visit and give presents at Hanoi Nursing Center for Elderly and Disabled Children at Thuy An village in Ba Vi, Hanoi for the purpose of sharing love, promoting the spirit of mutual love and sharing with the social community. Therefore, on September 11th, 2018, employees of Weichai Vietnam came here to give some essential items for life such as milk, cake and towel.  Speaking at the charity trip, Mr. Phung Cong Loi, Director of the Center, thanked the Board of Directors and staff of Weichai as the gifts that the company has given are very practical for the elderly and children being nurished in the center, which is also considered a meaningful Mid Autumn Season gifts to the center.

Currently, Hanoi Nursing Center for Elderly and Disabled Children at Thuy An village in Ba Vi, Hanoi  is taking care of 350 people, including old disabled people who can not serve themselves, children with light to severe disabilities, disable infants, abandoned infants, etc. 85% of them are unable to take care of their day-to-day activities and need the care of the staff.

Therefore, this “We love giving back” activity is also very meaningful to all employees of Weichai Vietnam having witnessed difficult circumstances, unfortunate fate, together with the company, handing each gift to each of the elderly and children in the center.

Carrying out the corporate social responsibility and for the development of the whole society is always a top priority at Weichai Group. In 2018, besides the gift-giving activities in Thuy An, Ba Vi, Weichai Vietnam and other companies in the Weichai Group will continue to carry out and accompany more love-sharing trips, wishing to contribute to improve the lives and bring about meaningful activities for the whole society.
