Regular maintenance can prevent major repairs, improve performance, and extend the life of your engine. Below are some important notes to ensure the engine is always in the best condition.

1- One of the most important tasks for engine health is regular oil changes. Engine oil lubricates the moving parts inside your engine, reducing friction and preventing overheating.

2- Always ensure that the fuel is in the best condition, old fuel affects the performance of the engine. All fuel filters must be drained and cleaned periodically because moisture accumulates and condensates on the fuel tank.

3- The air filter prevents dirt, debris, and other contaminants from entering the engine. A clean air filter helps ensure that your engine receives a steady supply of clean air for the combustion process, which can improve fuel-efficiency and overall engine performance. It’s important to change the air filter as suggested

4- Check the cooling system regularly, make sure the radiator is clean

After the engine has been turned off and cooled, remove the radiator cap and fill the coolant to ¾ full. Most diesel engines, especially heavy-duty engines, require a balanced coolant mixture of water, antifreeze and additives. This mixture should be maintained at all times for best performance.

Also, check the outside of the radiator and remove any dirt or foreign matter that has accumulated on and around the radiator with a soft brush so as not to damage the radiator fins.
