 Weichai has created a full range of new generation clean commercial vehicle national six power solutions in all fields, adopting two technical routes of high-efficiency SCR+EGR in parallel, and the displacement ranges from 2L to 15L Compared with Euro V products, Weichai Euro VI engines reduce NOx by 80%, PM by 90%, and CO₂ reduction by 15%; the industry’s only 50% thermal efficiency technology blessing,  more torque reserves, strong climbing ability, and 30% acceleration in starting;

In 2009, Weichai began to develop Euro VI products;

In 2014, Weichai became the first company in China to pass the Euro VI certification.

In 2018, Weichai became the first company in China to pass the National VI B official certification for heavy-duty diesel engines, and was the first to launch it on the market. In the same year, the production and sales of Weichai Euro VI products exceeded 2500 units;

In 2019, after completing the development of low fuel consumption and high reliability technologies, Weichai once again made breakthroughs in intelligent diagnosis technology. At that time, the number of Weichai Euro VI products on the market reached 60,000 units;

In 2020, Weichai will release the world's first commercial vehicle diesel engine with a thermal efficiency of over 50% on its body, meeting Euro VI emission requirements and setting a new benchmark in the world's internal combustion engine industry. This year, the production and sales of Euro VIproducts exceeded 220,000 units.

In 2021 Weichai set a production record of the 400,000th Euro VI engine, confirming its leading position in the entire engine industry.
