In 2019, Weichai introduces a series of new generation marine engines and generating sets, which have many advanced technologies and are welcomed by the market.

Most prominent is the WH20 engine,  a new generation of medium-speed diesel engines jointly developed by Weichai Group and Germany-based FEV. Union of the modular, integration and serialization design concepts and application of such advanced technologies as high-pressure fuel direct injection, multi-layer fluid heat exchange, tangential port + eccentric chamfer ensure reliability and durability, excellent performance, energy-saving and environment protection of the product.

It has a wide range of applications and can be applied to transport ships, fishing boats, engineering ships, offshore engineering platforms and power generator markets. The product meets the requirements of China Tier I and IMO Tier II regulations with respect to its emission and can be upgraded to China Tier II and IMO Tier III.

Next is the W28 that attracts attention at first sight with striking looks. The WH28 series diesel engine is a new generation of medium-speed diesel engines jointly developed by Weichai Group and Austria-based AVL, which is characterized by reliability, durability, strong power, energy-saving, environmental friendliness, and easy operation. This series of engine models use a high injection pressure fuel system, and a high-efficiency intake and exhaust system; it uses the Miller cycle in the operating process; its high strength bolts are tightened by means of hydraulic tensioning. The advanced design concept and design means to ensure that the individual performance parameters of the diesel engine are at the international leading level.

This series of engine models use modular, integration and serialization design concepts, with wide power range and adaptability, which can be widely used in fishing boats, offshore transport ships, large junks, public service ships, offshore engineering ships and for the power generator markets. It meets China Tier I and II and IMO Tier II emission requirements and has the potential to be upgraded to IMO Tier III.

The WP7 is a new type of marine diesel engine independently developed by Weichai, which is equipped with the Weichai's independently-developed ECU electronically-controlled high pressure common rail technology.The main technical indicators including fuel consumption and torque have reached the domestic advanced level. The diesel engine boasts such features as reliability and durability, compact structure, quiet operation and low vibration, strong power, simple operation and fuel economy, and is considered as the ideal power source for such ships as public service ship, cruise ship, passenger ship and transport ship.

WP13

The WP13 Landking series diesel engine is a marine energy-saving and environmentally-friendly diesel engine independently developed by Weichai in 2004 in terms of ship power utilization characteristics and configuration requirements, which uses a brand new design concept for special design optimization design. It features compact structure, strong power, good fuel economy and high reliability, and is used as the supporting power for ships, such as inland river transport ships, fishing boats, public service ships, yachts, and passenger ships.
