The medium-speed diesel engine WH series has been launched by Weichai Group since 2019, marking Weichai's success in applying advanced technology and techniques in production towards "Green transportation".

The Weichai WH series of marine machines is considered the optimal choice in marine thanks to these features:

Powerful capacity

4-valve technology per cylinder includes 2 intake valves and 2 exhaust valves, with a large displacement. As such, engines with this technology can have more air intake and more efficient fuel combustion than those with conventional 2 valve per cylinder design. As a result, the power is increased to help engines operate more powerfully.

Stable and durable operation

The cooling system circulating water, equipped with a blower fan and thermostatic radiator valve, which can increase the cooling efficiency and keep the temperature at a stable level. Lubrication system contains a self-cleaning centrifugal oil filter, which increases lubrication efficiency and prolongs oil change intervals. 

Fuel efficient & environmentally friendly

Resulting from the development in power and performance, the WH engine series is highly rated for fuel economy. The minimum fuel consumption of the engine is from 185 - 192 g/kW.h. WH engines have low emissions and meet IMO level II emissions standards.

Easy to install and maintain

Weichai WH engines have a modular design. Machine parts and components can be disassembled that makes installation and maintenance easy, time-saving and economical. Besides the required overhaul is up to every 35,000 hours.
