Marine Medium Speed Engine WH28
The WH28 series diesel engine is a new generation of medium-speed diesel engine jointly developed by Weichai Group and Austria-based AVL, which is characterized by reliability, durability, strong power, energy saving and environmental friendliness, and easy operation. This series of engine models use a high injection pressure fuel system, and a high efficiency intake and exhaust system; it uses the Miller cycle in the operating process; its high strength bolts are tightened by means of hydraulic tensioning. This series of engine models use modular, integration and serialization design concepts, with wide power range and adaptability. It also meets IMO Tier II emission requirements and has the potential to be upgraded to IMO Tier III.
